Don't call the cops! We've decided we need to get a bigger boat so we can travel on longer trips in greater comfort. Not sure what we're going to get yet, but whatever it is we'll still consider ourselves C-Brats for life.

We sold the boat to a very nice couple who also live in Oak Harbor. So if you see a boat that looks just like ours, maybe it was... Not sure what the new name is. I'll wait and let the new owners introduce themselves.

Will let you know when we do get a new boat.

Thanks for all the great times, we're really going to miss the entire C-Dory lifestyle. It's not just the boat, it's the people.

Fred and Robbin

This doesn't make my day. You two will be sorely missed in the tribe! I can't imagine you two not on that boat.

On the plus side, the owners are luckier than they probably know. They have just purchased one of the best smartly cared-for CD25s out there.

P.S. I do hope, however, that they change the name ASAP....I don't want to see the Anita Marie out on the water without you at the helm! Wink

HI Fred and Robbin. WOW, That is a surprise. Ummmmm jsut a thought, but a Venture 26 or a TomCat255 are both bigger that a C-Dory 25 AND you would still be on a C-Dory Wink

Whatever you do, you are still family here, and hope to see you on the water soon. Dehydration can be a serious health issue Rolling Eyes Best in your future decisions.

Fred and Robbin, what a surprise! I knew you were thinking about it so good for you two. Like Caryn and me, I'm sure you'll still make it to the gatherings but in a bigger boat.

Congrats and good luck in your search.

Congrats, Fred and Robbin. Time, tastes, and desires change. I still think C-Dorys are great boats for a couple that wants to trailer and cruise great areas. If you are keeping the boat in the water all the time and want more space and comfort, there are many great options.

Have you narrowed the choices, yet? Inquiring minds want to know. Wink

That's allowed.

You don't even need to upgrade your burgee - precedent has been set.

When you guys find that right boat, it'll be a great one for cruising here and up north. Looking forward to you both coming to all the gatherings and letting us a have a glimpse of your new cruising digs.

Fred, I'm stunned by that news. I thought for a second, is this 4/1? I had no idea selling was a consideration at this time. I figured new engine, new freezer, your boat's perfectly equipped for many years of exploration in retirement.

You've got an audience now interested in your next boat. Whatever it is, as you and others have said, you'll always be a one of us and I hope to see you two at our cruises.

Wow. And you said the 200 would make you "keep the boat". Wink I guess like "The Jeffersons", you are "moving on up...". Congrats. I'm kinda partial to those Grand Banks, personally. But I think they are beyond our "affordability".

Last Time ll......
We've been invited to the Sucia event but feel that we owe it to Fred and Robbin, and the rest of you, to have the new name on the boat before we attend any C-Dory gathering. The sign guy is busy and just cant get it done by then.

It is with great pleasure we welcome Last Time ll into our family. I have been boating since I was 7 (lived on the water in FL). My wife, Kris, and I spent many years commercial fishing for Albacore and Salmon in CA. I've delivered yachts from Seattle to San Diego, we wenrt from a 45' commercial fishing boat to a 40' Sedan trawler to our current fishing machine. I am currently in charge of the marine rescue division on North Whidbey Island. (2 boats, 2 trucks, 18 people).
We don't look at boats or pets as "things or animals" but as family members.
I can assure all of you the Last Time ll has come to a kind and loving home and will be well cared for and loved. You'll see us soon with our older daughter, Amy Ann, our beloved Golden retriever.

I will say that is with deep regret I'm selling my great fishing boat, the Last Time, a 22' Hewescraft Ocean Pro....I'm sure going to miss seeing that GPS
read out 42mph when I open that 200 Honda up.

We are looking forward to being accepted into the C-Brat family and hope to be able to spend some time with you all as my work will allow.
