That's still a heck of a deal, even with the twin 30s for power. I'd want a sea trial to see what it's cruising speed would be. Hell at that price you can price in a couple of new Honda 50s and still be ok.
More interesting to me is the dinette is missing and there is some cabinets in its place. That's either a configuration I've never seen before or that's a well done custom job. its different than the commuter configuration. Anyway its an interesting boat and priced very well IMO
Note: the posted date and location in New Bern NC. I wonder how this boat faired in hurricane Florence, it may not be on the market anymore _________________ 2007 22 cruiser sold 10/2021

We bought a 1999 c-dory cruiser with a 50 hp Honda it did 15-16 mph with 3 big guys on board . Sold it and put a 90 hp on it . I believe if engines are running Good then They should be able to run about 12-13 mph cruise enough to get on plane and probably 17-18 mph top end . Take it out for a test ride then repower if needed twin 50's will set you back about 10-11k maybe less if trade in other motors . Jim _________________ retired 8/08 from UAL, still working pt tm

At that price I thought it would be worth re-powering, but it sold the day after Florence hit so I'll keep looking.
I have seen that factory interior before on a 22 I looked at in Ocala FL listed for sale here on C-Brats.
Cheers,

This boat is sold. I called and emailed them for a week and when I finally got in touch with the owner, he said they were closed and his salesmans home had flooded. He told me to call back the next day and I could buy it. I called at 8 am when they opened and it had sold. I was so mad I could have spit fire that morning. I was trying to be respectful and give them time to open back up after the storm but another buyer showed up and and bought it out from under me.
Oh well, you win some, you lose some. I keep telling myself I probably dodged the "repower" bullet with those twin 30's.
One day soon, I will have a C Dory _________________ It must be weird to be normal |
