Both fishboxes fill up if it rains or if i wash down the boat. I tried putting in D foam tape in the channels but didn't work well.

I talked to Northwest Marine and the suggested the foam tape. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'd like to be able to keep them for dry storage when I want.

Thanks!

I tried all types of seals, and never kept it dry. Keep a slant back cover of the back of the boat when not using, and full Biminni enclosure, unless fishing....Fishing--you are going to get water in them...I believe that some of the new boats now have a groove which leads to the scuppers from the surrounding groove.

I posted this way back...

http://www.c-brats.com/viewtopic.php?p=338889

Are you Cruising or are you FsherPersons?

If Crusiers, just disconnect the plumbing to the macerator pumps AT THE PUMP and lay them in the bilge.

If Fisherpersons, I defer to them to post a solution.

Enjoy your great boat in any event!

John
