I first posted these three videos of our 1st extended cruise & road trip in 2003 to the Yukon & SE Alaska with our then new to us CD22 boat in 2006. The video host I used was expensive to us, so I lost the videos in the post in 2014. Realizing they were gone from the 2006 post I added new links from those posted on YouTube. Today I was going through some of the videos & found Part 2 of these three videos was from our 2004 cruise instead of the 2003 cruise. Don’t know why anyone else viewing this has not mentioned it. Anyway, decided tonight I would repost the three videos with part of the original description.

These are three videos separated into parts of 10 min, 14 min and 26 min. The videos are of scenes from our trip to Alaska and the Yukon River and remote Lakes in 2003. We trailered the boat for 5700 miles. Boated on the ocean for 507 miles, on remote lakes 545 miles and the Yukon River 400 miles. An amazing amount of doing, shoe horned into 28 days. This was very much a learn as we went event. We novices had only 8, one to two day outings on the water to prepare for this trip. No other boating experience other than canoe and 12.5 ft rubber inflatable. This video definitely shows the CD 22 capability in the hands of us then amateur operators. We did spend many pre trip planning hours reading all available information. Those of you that are in the position we were in then have a major advantage now with the information available from THE C-BRATS.

The written report on this trip was also my first posted in the Grand Adventure Forum & is now easy to access in this post http://www.c-brats.com/viewtopic.php?t=29167 I just made a few days ago condensing all our SE Alaska cruises into one post. Reading the written report & watching the video may add to both.

Jay, thank you for posting (all) of you trips like that. Good anti Covid activity. Saving those for future viewing for when it turns winter here.
