Hello, I'm new to forum and new to C-dorys, although I want one badly. I was looking at this C-dory 22 for sale and I'm trying to figure out what is showing on the right hand side bow above the waterline. It looks like a plug or drain or ??? Can someone illuminate me? Thank you

If any water gets in thru the deck pipe or a windlass, it should drain out thru the bottom of the anchor locker. Most are on the port side, but it makes no difference.

There is no "leak" unless some one forgot to seal off the area between the anchor locker and under bunk--and water can then be trapped there, if it does not drain out the bottom of the locker. Some boats have to have the floor of the anchor locker faired and sealed so the water can drain properly

Great explanation! I wish I could have been the new owner of Thisaway, but sounds like she found a good home. Congrats on your new boat.
