Here is the diagram
https://www.brownspoint.com/store/pc/suzuki/df90/01.asp

Yes it has avapor separator tank with fuel pump inside with a filter.

Thinking the VST should be pulled, cleaned and replace filter if needed. VST might be dirty (doubtful) but more likely the pump filter might be clogged and impending fuel flow. This pump powers the fuel rail to injectors and a fuel pressure reading on the rail is important

Most likely the injectors have a filter inside them. When they are serviced, a machine is used and tests them before and after cleaning including a full printout of the details for each injectors. So factor in injectors into the equation. I have Flag Ship marine in Punta Gorda, Fl serviced my injectors. About $40 each plus shipping. Fast turn around times too again m2cw

again m2cw

Yes, just as described in the service manual, I get 12 psi (key on) and there should be 36 when starting for sure, but the pressure did not come up when I hit the starter.
The procedure is to disconnect the return line and place the pressure gage on a "tee" in the line between the pump/filter and the injector rail.
I was just reading more of the manual and the pump is controlled by the ECM giving it .8msec. bursts to ground, followed by .1 msec. off. this amounts to one "duty cycle" I can't think of any way to test maybe an oscilloscope that I don't have, nor know how to use.
Thanks
Roger

Yeah, I already had some of the bad fuel hose in another place, bad business. All fuel lines are OEM Suzuki changed out 4 yrs. ago.
Thanks

I am still thinking electronic problem-remember how it started and it has completely deteriorated just sitting at the dock.

Also I pulled the IAC and watched it work with my own eyes, as recommended in the manual.
Thanks

Nope, I'm still thinking ECM for a lot of reasons,(read story from beginning on Suzuki Forum) but if I must, I will haul it out and fix. This is a new problem, the boat came in running but a little rough and ran barely at the dock for troubleshooting, now will not start, it's like electronic deterioration to me, I could put some dry ice on the ECM and see if it works then?
I always like to troubleshoot instead of hanging parts, but that's all the best mechanic I could find would do so far.
Thanks for everyone's help, I'll stay on it till it's fixed.

ok

if fuel pump and its filter in the VST are bad or filter blocked, it will reduce fuel pressure

https://www.thehulltruth.com/boating-forum/659552-yamaha-f115-vst-issues.html

just saying
if VST is pulled, no parts to replace unless filter is bad or pump except I would replace and lube a new VST O ring

Yes, I drain it every year at haulout/maintenance, have never seen any even slight contamination. I'm a freak for clean gas, I've been at this a while. A few weeks ago I ran it on a separate 6 gallon tank(it was still sort of running then)
It's quittin' time here on the East Coast, but I was thinking tomorrow, I would drain the VST, and blow out the system w/ compressed air from the low pressure pump to the injector bar and inspect all the gas in a glass jar, I just wish all those weird patterns on my SMIS would go away and I would be sure it's mechanical.
Thanks
Roger

"It runs fine on starting fluid" pretty much eliminates a computer/ECM problem & you don't need the SIMS gage to run the engine. Take the vapor separator off, clean & inspect, (your pres. reg. is in the bottom of the float bowl on the vapor separator). If the Float bowl area is all clean & no white/brown crud. Replace the H/P pump, re assemble & install. Go Boating.
Wink If full of white/brown crud replace assy. Wink Go Boating

The H/P filter is on top of the vapor separator, #1, change it also. Wink

Thanks, looks like the next thing to do, the High Pressure filter needs replaced in 300 hundred hours anyhow.
