Hello All--- Cabbage Key is a great idea, but they do have limited dockage with all the lunch & dinner boats coming and going, anchoring out is a possibility, the owners also own the Tarpon Lodge with docks, lodging, bar, & restaurant nearby on Pine Island which might be useful. Rich |

Hi Everybody:
A Florida Gathering sounds really good and maybe doable for us depending on the when and where. That makes us a definite maybe. By the way where is Cabbage Key? Are there any other TomCat's planning to attend this gathering?
Deb and I have been in the Keys for about a month and the weather has been absolutely wonderful. If anyone is planning to cruise this area this winter, please give us a shout and we'll try to get together for a cruise or a sundowner.
Merry Christmas Everybody
FRED & DED

Fred and Deb:
Were in Punta Gorda and plan to attend what will be our first gathering. We have a TC 24 and couldn't be happier with it. We'll be watching how things develop. _________________ James, Betty, Luna cat and Moki dog on the TomCat Molly Brown

James, Betty and Byrdman:
We've been to several gatherings over the years; all were fun but there was never another TomCat in attendance. The opportunity to cruise with 2 or more TC's would be a terrific experience that I don't want to miss. Just think; another boat that can keep up with TomCat. Please keep us posted as we want to be there too.
Merry Christmas

Deb & Fred--- Cabbage Key, an old historical island is on the gulf side, west of Useppa, south of Cayo Costa, & north of N. Captivia. Islands. Randy Wayne White(a local author, who writes about the area) can sometimes be found here. Hopefully this is helpful Rich |

Rich:
Thanks so much for your reply about Cabbage Key. With your directions I found it and realize that I have cruised very close to it a few years ago. Look forward to meeting you and others if the Gathering does take place in southern Florida this winter.
Have a wonderful Holiday Season

Happy New Year everyone:
Did the idea of a Florida gathering fizzle out for this winter or is there still some interest out there?

Fred & Deb, et al,
We arrived in Key West middle of last week and have just been hanging-out enjoying the delightful wx. Naknek is still on the trailer for the time being.
I'm still thinking about doing he Okeechobee Loop sometime this winter but don't have a starting date yet. If I/we do it, may come up to Marathon then jump over to Flamingo and beyond....
Or, I may just take an overnighter up to Marathon for the heck of it.
I'll give you a call.
Have you met/contacted the Berotti's/Wanderer (they should be in Marathon by now if I recall)?
Casey

Hiya Casey:
Welcome to the Keys. My boat is out getting some fresh bottom paint but we should have her back in the water by Thursday. I expect to hear from the Wanderer sometime this week so maybe we can all get together for some fun and discuss cruising options.
Talk with you soon,
FRED & DEB

We are new C-Dory owners who are planning a trip across the canal. All we need is some company. Someone name the time and place and we will be there.

Syd & Margo- Welcome to the group! The trip we're planning is to trailer to Sarasota leaving Jersey 2/16. Arrive for family gathering on 2/19. Hang out a couple of days, then head South past you for a trip through the canal, then North up the ICW. We have 17 days to work with, and the middle and ending points are flexible. We're hoping to make it a one way trip, as the truck and trailer will be delivered to the East coast for us by a family member. Can any of this work for you?

Hi All--- I haven't heard much more on the Florida cruise in Feb. My C-Dory and motorhome are in storage in Melbourne Beach. I plan to be there during the month of Feb. Roughly figuring there should be at least 12 members in Fla. at that time, so maybe we should try to get some kind of cruise or gathering together for a few days. Anybody have any suggestions???---- What about it Roger--Fred---Etc
