A doctor is one of the few things I have not done in my life, unless you consider an animal doctor a doctor because I’ve done lots of that.
I really like your signature. I was tempted to copy it with some modifications, so I could use it, but decided to use a short variation of my real signature.

You never know when you will need a paper clip.
I like some of the things you have done on your boat. While I will not copy what you have done, I will copy some of your ideas.

Hey there, feel free to steal/copy/modify anything I post to the pub. The only reason I post that stuff is to maybe plant an idea that helps folks enhance their C-D experience...that's what the pub is all about |

Just about everything I have done to my boat was because of ideas I got from this site. The only things left to add are a VHF radio, which is on my Christmas list, a storage box of some type on top and Radar. Radar will be added only when the price and size come down. I need the storage for bulky light things because my wife and I are running out of room on board.
I really need a bigger boat. With the amount of gas, water and equipment I carry on board, I believe I am fast approaching my maximum load limit, whatever that is.
Anyone know what the maximum load for a 16’ C-Dory Cruiser is? That is to include motors, gas, batteries, people and equipment. I know the brochure says four people or 700 pounds. Does the 700 pounds include motors, batteries and gas, because four average people plus an outboard, battery and gas will weigh more than 700 pounds. Somewhere I recall reading that the maximum load (this includes everything in and mounted to the bear hull) is 1100 pounds, but before I get there, I would like to be sure.

Hi "Crooked Paper Clip" Dave
Don't know answer to your question in #'s. Do know that when I had my 16' Cruiser, I'm sure I was over it a time or two. I could tell by how low it sat in the water and how I couldn't even get it to move above "displacement" speed with the 50 HP. These occasions were on trips where we carried a large tent, coleman stove, small propane tank, bedrolls, clothing, food, large containers of water etc. plus food and drink for a primative week of camping for three of us..........almost forgot.....the dog too!
(It was after a couple of the above described trips that we made the move to the 22').
P.S. Noticed the name of your vessel...Miss T.....years ago I had a horse by the same name. She was certainly a spirited steed!
P.S.S. Your signature is somewhat similar to mine. _________________ Dave S.
