Still wondering if there will be anyone interested in cruising the south portion of the Inside Passage after the gathering? I hope to visit with my brother in the Seattle area the weekend after the gathering, but would like to then spend 3 1/2 weeks cruising. I'll also have the first half of the week right after the gathering to cruise around the area. John and Kitty, if you are still interested, and nobody else is, we could go to some of the other islands/parks that I'm vaguely familiar with, unless you know of some areas. Colby

There are usually a few boats that cruise after the gathering. Robbin and I are thinking of going out to Princess Louisa after the gathering.

Good to hear. I imagine I'll just connect up with others during the gathering. I've heard there are always some that hang around and cruise afterwards. I've ferried out to Friday Harbor a few times in the past, and my wife and I had our own boat out there a few years ago. But we pretty much stayed in the San Juans, so it's all new territory to me going north into Canada. We have passports, and I'm sure the boat is legal for Canada. (We had no problems launching out of Spanish on the North Channel of Lake Huron.) I will need to find out about foods we can or can't bring in by boat however. Colby

C-Horse, Welcome to the C-Brats. Looking forward to meeting you in Friday Harbor. It’s a good gathering to meet a lot of Brats. Be sure to set up a photo album so we can see your boat.

C-Horse, Welcome and congratulations. Good choice on a boat. Hard to be the Jeep of the water and the VW bus of the cabin cruisers. You are going to love it. Stick around on the CBRATS site and learn everything possible about C-Dorys.

Wish I could make it but we have a wedding up near Comox and might trailer the boat up for it.

Crabbing is open pretty much year round in Canada, with Sidney spit being a good spot not too far from the gathering. Just buy a license online and check in with Customs at one of the islands. (maybe check with customs about bringing the crabs back).

Hello just purchased my C Dory and am planning on going to FH in May and look forward to meeting you all. Jim and Kandi. Thanks

You only thought you "purchased a C-Dory"! What you actually did was to buy into a family who will become your new best friends over the years!

John and Kathy, Looking forward to meeting you and seeing “Cattitude”. I like the name. We have friends that own a 24 Tom Cat. Their little family of 4 took the 24TC to Alaska with us in 2016. It did the trip quite nicely. 4 on a 24.

Unfortunately, a conflict has arisen for that weekend. Kathy and I are going to have to drop out. (This is the 2nd year in a row that has happened......DAMN.)

Gene,
thanks for the "holler" we look forward to meeting you folks and chasing tides with the group. Your friend with the 24, do you know how much fuel they hold. I haven't a guess yet?

Cattitude, Looks like my buddies boat “Cod Blue” (he’s an emergency room doctor) holds 100 gal. 50 each side.
