The trim control works inside the cabin. The switch on the lower cowl only works in the up position.
While I know a lot about Yamar 1GM10's, I know nothing about this motor.
I'm assuming the relays are OK since it goes up and down from the cabin.
I'm also assuming the switch on the cowl has gone bad on the down side even though the up side works.
My thought is I need a new cowl switch.
Need advice from someone who knows. Am I headed in the correct direction or have I made a mistake in diagnosing the problem.
Thanks in advance for your opinions.
Extra thanks to correct answers. _________________ "C-dory's are the 13th step in a 12 step program for sailors."Marc Grove, Wefings Marine |

Could be the down wire (broken) or the wire connection from the switch, not the switch itself. |

Thanks. Need to take the cowl off and see what's what before ordering a switch. |
