My wife and I are thinking hard about a tomcat 24 for our new home on lopez island. Question is, has any one added or converted the head for a nice hot shower.

Consider the room in the head--you are far better petitioning off an area on the aft deck/cockpit for the shower. Not standing "head" room in the head. _________________ Bob Austin

that is probably the best solution for that boat but I am not sure I can pull her backwards on this after a few years of RV, may have to move up to 255.
thanks for your time

I have a CD-25 with a shower and have never used it. We hang a shower curtain from our Bimini in cockpit. Lots more room than the shower in the head. My wife is more that fine with it. It’s difficult to have everything that you have on a RV on a boat but give me my “Boaterhome” every time.

We have a CD25 and use the shower all the time. Heat water with a Honda 2000. Nothing like a warm shower after hiking or swimming or...especially when it's cool out. In the summer we have used a solar shower, but still put it thru the window of the head.
The head is tight, but doable; I'm 5'10/185. We put a large plastic bag over the actual head so it does not fill with water. _________________ "We can go over there...behind the 'little one'....."
