We had cloudy skies with a bright sun burning through. We even had a sundog at one point. The new visors were great. We headed directly toward the sun and didn't have to shield our eyes with our hands.

At our slip you can see the difference already

They fold out of the way easily.

There are other sources--such as aircraft accessory shops: or even WalMart.
Google search "Portable sun visors"--there are dozens, for all different prices.

I did go to Sporty.com and there they were, in stock. Went on and ordered 2. I was trying to use the static film but that was a pita and not safe. Cool

I ordered my sun visors from Solid Signal last week. They are back ordered, but will be here within the next 10 days. I got the free shipping coupon, so this was a better deal then I found anywhere else. I would have liked to had the aviation sun visors, but they cost about $250 each. https://www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp?p=ram-b166326visg1u

We use very thin black plastic trash bag material cut to fit. It makes a temporary tented window for cruising in to the sunset. Tact it up with velcro or duct tape. Roll it up when not in use. It covers the whole window and takes care of both the sun above and the refection on the water.

Do you actually look through the garbage bag, or just pull down and look under it.
