I can give a final report on Nate. I went to sleep at about 11 PM. Woke up at 2 AM--it was windy, and rain. at 4:30 AM I could not hear wind and no rain--some movement of foliage observed.

Looking at the meteorology reports from NAS Pensacola, which is 6 miles to the South of us; Peak sustained winds= 38 knots with gusts to 49 about the same time Nate made secondary landfall. I don't think we had that much at our home. at 7:45 AM--it looks like about 15 knots with some gusts to 25. NAS reported total rain fall of about 0.61 inch. Storm surge--may have been 3 feet max. But that was over a period of over 24 hours.

Again, sustained wind, gusts, rain and surge was considerably more at the point of impact. But for us, Nate was one of the weakest storms we have experienced. I would estimate that we about 100 miles from Biloxi MS where the storm made secondary landfall at about 12:30 AM with winds of 85 mph.

Hopefully Pat on Daydream had even milder conditions...

We are safe. Hurricane Nate was a total non-event in Demopolis, we were not really even aware of anything except some rain during the night. We hope to be moving south again tomorrow morning!

Pat and Patty;

Good move, you rode out Nate away from any fury. Putting stuff awat, taking down the canvass probably reduced the anxiety level.

Now you can complete your whirlwind tour in peace, without the wind.

See, I guess you just can't believe everything those PNW Weather guys say, right?

Very glad to hear you are OK, and "weathered the storm". Will be checking the Blog here soon.

There is no natural weather, that is why the 'forecast' changes from day to day much of the time! Thanks to the "Military Industrial Complex" (Weather Warfare) some US president warned about yesteryear and why RFK was assassinated... trying to blow the whistle on the predatory elite agenda. But I digress and can't blame them really Neutral got to keep the trousered ape population in control. Disgust

I don't know--obviously, there's not much!!! As far as I can seen, way out in left field is as good a place to be as any. At least it's entertaining!

RF (Greg?), l couldn't let this hang. In terms of lack of sanity, I was not referring to you but the world in general. Not sure if we live in a crazier time than the past but it appears so to me.
Your reference to weather engineering while perhaps possible seems to me to be in left field. I'm skeptical but remain open to a slight possibility.
I've always enjoyed your posts- I hope you're back. Also admire your craftsmanship and projects with your boat. Your boat looks great- really like the way the bottom paint follows the strake forward. I don't recall seeing that before--may have to copy that idea--it's really nice.

Yeah I kinda thought so. Nice to meet ya Thumbs Up

I think it was Mark Twain that said "truth is stranger than fiction" and he nailed it! I'm so glad this is not about me to, and I try not to take meself so seriously any more. Smile

Mega time I burn up these days on the geopolitical orb and how our 'sanity' is impacted by the nano particulate matter world wide. The sad truth that most people don't inquire or are even curious about these things goes to prove mans devolution. Were actually going backwards with all this technological crap today. Yesterday I spent about 4 hours on 'Tony Panteleresco' a fiesty Mediterranean man and herbalist on the subject. His take on the obvious weather control today is it's probably A.I (artificial intelligence). I'd give the link but almost no one is able to recover their freedom. Sad

I listen to a lot of passionate people from all orbs. Last week I discovered a new doctor "S. Gundry" and his take on why were all getting so thick around the middle with excessive 'brain fog' and achy joints.

Luvin me c-dory life is a matter of health and freedom. World history is a nasty orb of elites trying to contain the masses, of which we are. They don't want a bunch of 'c-brats' on 'their ocean' wrecking the peace for them. Embarrased
