It seems I have an original wash down hose attachment plate with an on/ off switch. It looks like some kind of quick release fitting for the hose. The hose did not come with the boat so I am looking for a replacement. But the ones I see in catalogs seem to have normal garden style hose connections. Any thoughts? Thanks, Todd and Susan.

Most hometown hardware stores can convert the garden hose to work with the air compressor fitting, or you can spend 30 minutes in Lowe's or Home Depot checking out the plumbing and air compressor section.

There is also a string on this in the forum if you want to do a search. As I recall it also had pictures of the parts you need

Todd,

I had the same problem with my 25. I ended up getting a standard wash down hose from West Marine and then going to a plumbing supply store to find the connectors to convert it.

Here is the thread on the washdown hose issue:
http://www.c-brats.com/viewtopic.php?p=306477&sid=66269bd83b0659a64cc89177004e1042
2 reducers were needed to get down to the air-style quick release connector. (picture in thread)
Chris

My hose and sprayer are from an outfit called Claber, available on Amazon. My sprayer broke with water freeze last winter. It's the typical one you see on boats with the quick disconnect system.
