Crook We are having a terrible time trying to find a way to mount our dive ladder...we got the 4 step little pon-pier because with my dry suit I couldn't reach the bottom rung of the 3 step off the swim platform....my dry suit doesn't give me much mobility....

So Dan mounts the bracket, hurky little thing....we head out and find our little mount for the dive ladder is now filling our boat full of a steady stream of water.....oops....it looked good in the driveway!

I ordered my 22' with the dive platform and ladder. The ladder was way too short and hard to use. I bought a three step top mount from West Marine and it works great. It's alot easier to bring it up from up above as the last diver in always forgets to pull it up. I would think you could get a four step one. A dry suit!!! OMG, I can't imagine!! Water here is still 80 in January.

I will be trying a "very sturdy looking" dive ladder made for the Armstrong Brackets. You can see it on their website. Some folks dive dry here, too. So, lots of weight and less mobility. We'll see how this one does. I have a Plan B just in case.

I opted out of the rails and will install a couple of vertical posts to hold on to while climbing out.

80 degrees sure sounds nice. We pour warm water into our suits before and between dives. Urine does the rest.

The dive post that I set up works great for me.

PJ just got me one of those dive scooters for my B-day- can't wait to try it out. Thumbs Up

Hey, Roger

Dive Cat is almost finished. Are you coming down for the christening (about March 1)? Or should I come up there for a quick trip to snag a few before the end of the season?

Also, does your ladder hook under the lip of the gunwhale, and how many more ladder steps are under the surface? Diving dry or wet?

Bob,

We can definitely be there for the christening!!

The post has 4 steps on it. The mount fits into a Scotty rod holder that is set on the inside of the gunwhales, I can use it on both the starboard and port sides. I dive wet. May go dry at a later date.

Let me know if you can come up, we'll go out and pick a few bugs.

Bob... How are the adoption papers coming along? No word yet from the Bonnie Plant Farm folks.... I may need to update my dive certification, come out west as your deckhand... 1Mar?? That would be great. Let's start us a lotery on delivery date !!! OK... so maybe I should not joke about that .... you have been thru a lot of waiting...but look at the results you are getting.
