If you have extra funds, this chair could be for you.

Tom, I think Bud was implying that he was buying those for fellow C-Brats as part of his new-guy initiation. Cool

Thank you, Bud - most gracious! Thumbs Up

I bought the settee version. Fits perfect in the CD 16, although my butler complains that it's too big.

I think it's overpriced.
As it happens, in 1981 Eileen and I were stationed in Korea (both Active Duty AF) and on a 'luxury' USO tour including Hong Kong when the Chinese announced that they would take over Hong Kong "by force" if necessary during the treaty negotiations.
The HK dollar fell to a record low, and Eileen was buying Waterford crystal for $1.75 US per stem ($35/stem was then typical).
We had the most memorable lobster and filet dinner of our lives with a very nice $100 bottle of wine at the top of the New World Hotel overlooking Hong Kong harbor and live by-the-table violin player for $50 US including tip and flaming Cherries Juliblee.
We bought a $1600 HK 4-place solid premium Rosewood Mah-Jong table set for about $140 US.
We took the Star Ferry through a Level 3 tyhoon to arrange free shipping back to Korea via a Navy outpost.
It has been our Kitchen Table ever since 1981, through 5 military moves and the 10 years since military retirement.
It's our Kitchen Table even now.
There are very few other 'things' in our lives that have proved such high quality and lasted as long and given us such daily enjoyment. In such cases, the 'price per day' can become pretty cheap.
I suppose what I'm trying to say here, is that if you can get that chair for under $125, and have a Story To Tell, it might well be worth it after all.
Good Luck!
John

I'm not surprised they are available for purchase. I would be surprised if they sold many. But some people think the more the spend, the better items must be.

Is there a "tongue in cheek" emoticon here? I am kind of partial to this one:

It has been demonstrated that the reliability of the modern car is inversely proportional to its price. You'll just have a nicer place to sit while waiting for the tow truck.

That chair has no rod holders, no cup holders and the side table is too small to fillet a fish on. Useless....

I'd like to find a couple of nice teak and black canvas folding chairs for the cockpit. I can only find blue canvas.

Any good canvass shop could change it out for you.
