Nice job! Should be copied by quite a few Airhead owners!

If that's on a 22 Cruiser, what did you remove to make the enclosed head? It does look like a very nice setup that interests me, but I don't really want to give up cabin space I currently have. Colby

Colby,
I liked the name enough, that the new boat has the same monicker... My other boats are also bird names, with the exception of the Corsair trimaran.

2004 22' Cruiser getting buffed and waxed by pros. Also installing Vetus Stainless Steel Portholes. Was going to do it myself, but a local shop made me an offer I couldn't refuse. They have the equipment, know how, and experience.
While she is off the trailer, I am cleaning and spiffing up the trailer.

In the last year since we bought our 2003 cd25 in South Dakota:
Replaced the anchor, rode and windlass
All new camper top and frame.
I welded up a new aluminum radar arch to mount the new Simrad 4G radar that is part of our new Simrad combo chartplotter system.
I installed a new solar system on the cabin top along with a 30 amp controller.
I instaled 2 new solar vents.
Traded in the 2003 Honda 135 for 200 and 9.9 Suzukis
I power buffed out the faded gell coat and applied the new name lettering.
Installed 5 new stainless grab handles around the boat.
3 new and larger batteries, removed the single battery switch and replaced with individual switchs and added a battery combiner.
2 new larger bilge pumps and switchs.
Installed a new 30 amp battery charger and wiring.
Replaced 3 110 volt outlets with GFI outlets.
Added 4 new 12 bolt outlets, 1 for the new portable Engel freezer.
Changed out the old rv fridge for a new efficient marine fridge.
Added shelving and teak galley organizers.
Pulled out the 6 gallon space waster waterheater and added a 2.5 gallon Bosch below and behind the galley sink.
Installed raw water foot pumps for the galley and head along with a new faucet and 40 micron filter and hand pump.
Added a head sink with a corian counter, along with removing the salt water head and installing an Airhead.
I installed a new vhf with AIS.
Added a SSB/ham radio.
Put in a new Bluetooth marine stereo.
Replaced a lot of old wiring and added several new 12V fuse blocks.
Had many of the cushions reupolstered and cut new foam for everything.
Removed the 2 burner Origo stove and put in a single burner one, added a BBQ grill on the stern rail along with a stern anchor flat strap reel.
We just ordered a Spectra watermaker we still need to install so we will be ready to cruise the Sea of Cortez next winter.
That was most of what we did this last year.

I wish I lived closer to you Monterey bay kind of sucks for boating adventure, but it does force us to get away to new places.
I looked at some of your Nomad projects and it looks like you are doing pretty well on your own! It seems like you came over from a lifetime of sailing as we did.

Yep I was a sailor (RN as well). Took up sailing around 1980, had several sail boats from 22' to 33', switched to the dark side with Nomad 2011.
Sold Nomad 2017 and bought a Camano Troll. As we got older, found our C-Dory getting smaller! Admiral said the dinette seats and the v-berth were giving her hip pain and wanted more luxury.
I miss my C-Dory but the Troll sure is comfortable. We made many friends with the C-Dory family. Once a Brat, always a Brat.

Today was our 35th wedding anniversary (40th dating). So, to do something somewhat romantic, Eileen thought I should comply with Lake Champlain regs in advance by removing the last leg of the blackwater tank macerator discharge hose. Less messy than I thought it would be, and cleaned up with Lysol wipes and Chlorox.

Otherwise, it was everything a 35th wedding anniversary should be, and we hope you have one too!

Cheers!
John

Our 31st anniversary was last week. We didn't do something quite as romantic as work on the head plumbing, but Barbara suggested we take the C-Dory up river to Cobb Island and have crabs and shrimp for our anniversary. It was a great way to spend the day.

Congratulations! And what a lovely way to celebrate!
Thanks for letting us be a part of it.

I hope you have many more opportunities to come up with other unique ways to mark the day.
