Either that or C-Dory was deviously stuffing the manuals in Personal Flotation Devices! In which case, it might float but not display!

Norm, looks like a typo to me. Download it save it and change the name manually to .pdf and it will probably work.

Note: the 16 Manual incorrectly states the length of the steering cable - its copied directly from the 22 manual. It states that you should use a 19' cable - I dont remember exactly what the correct length is - but I replaced the cable on my 16 and ended up taking the old one in to make sure I got the correct one the second time around.

Cheers,
Tom

Yeah, and don't try to use an owners manual as a life jacket.... Probably won't work! At least not for very long! Shocked

Well Darn. I got the first two parts and now have reached my "maximum Upload Quota Limit of 5 MB" according to the system. If it will let me tomorrow, not sure how long the quota limit lasts, I'll put part 3 in there.

Charlie,
Thanks for the help. Cigar Beer

I have also attacked this by placing a pix of the cover sheet in my album
and noting I will e-mail [ka1rx@verizon.net] anyone my copy of the
manual if they can't get it here.

I also sent a copy to our C-Nerd, Bill. I hope the 3.96MB file is not too
big for the pipes, etc..

You did good to get as much in as you did. I hope you are successful
tomorrow.

I just now saw the attachment window below this pane. Disgust Embarassed

Well, I better not complicate this by trying to send the doc now. Embarassed

My excuse is this is the first time working in area, and I'm sticking to it;
I declare ol' age brain burp syndrome.

Hey guys - I'm swamped at work right now, but will take care of this later tonight or tomorrow.

Art emailed me his CD 25 manual, no need to bust it up into multiple parts. I'll use my super powers to upload it as a single document, then delete the extraneous posts in this thread.

I have 2008 C-Dory 26 Venture hull number one. I did not get a manual for the boat with it. I would really appreciate a copy of a manual from an early hull number 2008 26 Venture if someone can provide one.

I would take the capacity information with a grain of salt, I know the manuals were wrong for the Tomcat and I believe the C-25 as well.

Matt,
You are quite right abt the capacities. My 2005 model CD25 has an AL gas
tank with a mfg label noting a 117gal tank. My measured water is 30 gal..
Holding tank only a SWAG.

Thanks Bill for opening the gate.

Thanks, Art, for uploading the CD25 manual that you have.

We know per Jeff Messmer that there WAS no "official" CD25 manual when the CD16, CD19 and CD22 manuals were made available. I got a 3 ring binder from C-Dory that just had the literature on the components in it. Art got this manual, and now Sea Sport says it is not "official."

Lindhouts - IS there now an official CD25 manual? Is there any reason in the world you can't make it available here? Thanks!

Da Nag wrote:

Per Jeff, the 25 Cruiser and 255 Tomcat manuals are still being worked on. Once available, I'll add them here as well.

Thanks, Jeff!

Update: C-Dory 25 Manual provided by Art (Sea Angel). Per Sea Sport, this CD25 manual is not the "official" version.

One more thought.......... Idea

May I state the obvious with a hope that everyone that uses the CD25
Manual will customize it to their own configuration; even if the changes
are pen or pencil.

I have added the 'economy sheet protectors' ( from Office MAX) to my
manual to collect the information from different manufacturers to
supplement such things as the care of the water cooled air conditioning
system and its components as well as alignment instructions on such
things as the wiper arms.

Include in your manual the purchase and registration, MMSI and other
common information items, then you find it to be a most valuable work
and reference book.

After all the above is done to your satisfaction... Now you have an
OFFICIAL Customized CD-25 Manual unique to only your boat.

Come on Spring.......... CoolSmile CoolSmile

....

Absolutely....I basically created my own Tomcat manual with corrected capacities (from the then C-Dory builders), instructions for what each battery selector switch position means (it's a mystery when you first get the boat), how to align the engines via the hydraulics, added a Lewmar windlass manual, etc., etc., etc.

Looking for Toland family history and beginning of the C-Dory history....or Marben Marine as they were called possibly in their early days.

Any help?

Own again the last 18' C-Dory made, hull #14 and just wanted to put together some documented company and family history.

Thanks.
