We're sitting at the town dock at Seneca Falls, NY on the Cayuga-Seneca Canal. Seneca Falls is the home of Woman's Rights, so I'm keeping my mouth shut and head down. _________________ El and Bill (former live-aboards)

Engines doing fine (even if they're not Yamaha, Chris) and they're out of coffee/chocolate/moose stuff, Dun.
Probably head west in late October or early November, after the leaves drop, Mac. Fall back here is marvelous.
Oh oh -- El is out on the dock carrying a placard and chanting something ... |

Hi to all,
We sure enjoyed our time with you all on the canal. Sorry we did not go the distance with the gang, but, we had a good visit with our friends in Fairport. We evan spent a night in Lyons-they have a good musuem and a rebuild historic movie theather.
Bill be sure to give us a report on the new Hondas and the break-in.
The Red Cat wine is sold in Red Lion, Pa at the State Store-now we can relive the cruise as often as we like. Have good travels!

You're right, Terry -- r-e-d c-a-t!! That's what she's chanting. For you left coasters, there's a Catman on the Erie Canal -- and his other name is Terry. He supplied every boat (and a few bystanders) with a Red Cat. Now, lest felinophiles think he's peddling real cats, his cat comes in a bottle with a cork and is aged from good NY grapes.
Maybe, Brock, he'll send you a bottle so you can have a red cat in your house. |

David --
One of our ol' Honda 40's gave up the ghost down in Chesapeake. We've been chugging along on one a'waiting arrival of two shiny new '06 40's fresh off of the boat and they were just put on by a great Honda dealer, Seagers Marine, in Canandaigua, NY. Now we're moseying along the NY canals doing the 20-hour break-in period before heading off to ... somewhere ... still debating where. The northeast is so beautiful this time of year.
Looking forward to sharing a crab (and a brew) with you two on next trip to NW -- |

Hey gang! I have been burried working the Hurricane Disaster Relief Teams, and will be heading down to Ocean Springs, MS for a 3-5 day trip depending on if I get out today or Friday and if I come back with the Thrust team on Sunday or come back Monday. Bill and El: Yall can come on back down to Lake Martin area for a few days and just follow the color change south. Bring some nice cool air with you. Who knows... we could boat a few days, go further south to help out some folks a few days... There is room for other C-Dory helpers too!!... I simply can not believe there is ol Rita down there kicking up. Looks to be another killer for sure. Hope we fair well in Ocean Springs this weekend and we should based on this morniings PROJECTIONS of where she may come ashore. Looks as if several lessons learned are being tested. I think the quality of life will be much better, even with all the destruction. I wonder why we do not take all the unemployed folks who can not find jobs, let one family member of each of those families work with a large organization digging up dirt from some vacant vast lands in the US that are far inland, then haul all the dirt down south and rebuild these below sea level towns about 15-25 foot above sea level??? Is that not how we built roads, fences, National Parks even back in the World War days??? Youngster here and I can not recall the names of the programs...?? Help me out. Gotta get headed south! Yall have a blessed day!
