Thanks for the well wishes. Dr. appointment was good today, she was released from Dr's care. We decided to postpone our Powell trip for a week or two, to allow her to build some endurance and learn to eat solid foods again.
Everyone have fun, we will miss seeing you all. _________________

We're in for going to Lake Powell the first week of October if anyone else is going to be there? We'll bring the 20 pounds of steak and lobster! Well, maybe. Wait, probably no steak or lobster... :tongue Bob and Liz "Catfish" |

That's good news! We are glad Dixie is recovering nicely!

We've returned from our trip to Lake Powell. The following were in Oak Canyon for the gathering on Sep 30- Oct 1:
C-View II - Tony & Diane - Phoenix, AZ
Hunky Dory - Jay and JoLee - Wyoming
Cat Claw - Lou - Montana
Two Bears - Chuck & Penny - Idaho
Limpet - Mark - Washington
Voyager - Jody - Utah
By being a little later than previous years, the weather was a bit cooler with some rain and the lake was less busy.
We enjoyed spending time with our old and new friends.

And Bill on C Swell. He's still there.
I left Antelope and went east (around the "back way") thinking that I might put in at Flaming Gorge, but winds, freezing rain, and snow in the high areas made me turn tail and head for Dewatto. Just pulled in this afternoon.

Patty here. Heal quickly, Dixie. I'm sure you'll be back in no time. (Better than some other surgeries we have had, right?) _________________

Cool! Congrats!
We are picking up a second Wirehaired Pointer tomorrow morning. Salty is getting a baby brother. We are leaning towards Fritz for a call name. |

We are finally heading to Lake Powell 10/10/16, plan to go north from Bullfrog and spend a week in the Good Hope Bay region. Fishing is still good. Hope to load up on Striped Bass and Walleye. Days forecast to be in the 70's, but the nights dipping into the 40's. I guess the Espar Airtronic will get some use. |

It was great seeing everyone at the Oct. 1st gathering. Enjoyed the time I spent cruising with Mark on Limpet, Jody on Voyager and Lou on Cat Claw. I stayed on the lake until Oct. 10th. The temperatures are looking good enough that I am going to return on Friday the 21st for another 12 days or so. I will be launching from Halls Crossing and my plan is to slowly cruise down to Wahweap and back up to Halls Crossing. If anyone else is going to be on the lake over this time period keep an eye out for me. |
