OK, I found the invoice for the 2014 work, the parts only included everything associated with the brakes (and I mean EVERYTHING, the result of the master cylinder seizing up, it toasted everything else) and the bearings and seals. So the hubs are the original hubs. I am therefore assuming, I hope correctly, that the original part numbers for bearings, races and seal would still be correct. But I will double check with the shop, I am having the Silverado serviced there on Friday, and will ask.

Will be the same, Pat. The spindle (axle) and hub are the same. He just replaced the rotors/calipers and the bearings/races.

Kinda what I thought. I bet he just removed the outer axle zirk fitting; the Bearing Buddys will not fit over the zirk. I"m willing to bet the threaded machining is still there for the zirk to screw in to.

Same thing happened to us. The m/c froze/rusted and toasted all four brakes. I replaced them all, again...along with a brand new surge actuator. Rolling Eyes
