Some Things I Am Thankful For:
For a season of Thanksgiving.
For Life, Health & Freedom:
To Worship My God.
And to come and go, and to have a choice of how. And for Safety along the miles.
For friends and family who have been kind, generous & fun to spend time with.
And for the little things; to wake up in mornings, to taste warm food and good chocolate, and for good fish and chips occasionally.
For my access to the C-Dory family and friends across the country.
And for my stout little boat that always brings me home safe.
For eyes to see, and the sunrise, the fog and the water. And trees. And to read.
To be able travel, or be home at will, and for our great country.
God bless America,
Harvey

Jason, I noticed you have started this thread for the last couple of years. Sorry, I didn't mean to step on your history or practice, but didn't want it to get missed and thought you might be of cooking a turkey on the Camano, or buying that bigger boat.
Thanks for doing it before.

Well Said Harvey,
I awoke this morning and the first thing I thought of was to say "Thank you God" for all of the Blessings you have given to us.
Thanksgiving is in the fall of the year--and traditionally America and Canada were agrarian cultures until only a few years ago. The harvests were in (our Soybeans were very late this year) and all had survived another summer and had food put aside for the winter months.
We C Dory owners are especially blessed with our extended families and the fellowship we share both on the internet and at the gatherings.
Perhaps most of all we are so fortunate to have been born at this time, in the places and circumstances which we have enjoyed. For that we give extra thanks.
We are having 18 for dinner. All are boaters Two are new immigrants to America from Cuba who remind us how fortunate we are!
God bless us all. _________________ Bob Austin

I've very very thankful this year.
I've always been single, never married, and had no kids. About a year and a half ago I did the Ancestry .com DNA thing to find out my genetic makeup. Well, about three months ago I found out that I have a very smart, beautiful, and stable 33 year old daughter, a great son-in-law, and an almost two year old grandson, that I never knew existed. It's the best news I've ever received.
Her biological mother put her up for adoption and she was adopted by a wonderful family who also adopted another little girl 10 months after they adopted my daughter. She was 18 and it was a one night stand and the mother never knew my name to get in touch with me.
I am blessed as we are becoming a part of each other's lives. _________________ 2007 25 Cruiser 150 Suzuki (2013-2016)

Thanks Harvey! Happy Thanksgiving to all! I was probably preoccupied a few days ago....we had brutal cold for 48 hours. I was just trying to survive on my boat! Lol _________________ <><><> Jason <><><>

But when you have family by "choice" the shock, 33 years later, in not as huge unless that old-timers disease is kicking in |

Hey Ken. Mine has been kicking for several years now, I'm sure. I just try hard not to let it "kick in".
