I have a e-mail into Jeff but was wondering if anyone on here had ever done any modifications to that forward bulkhead at the foot of the v-berth. I took delivery of a new 16' cruiser a week ago and the upholstery wasn't quite right. The insert doesn't have enough room to sit on the platform and stay there, any pressure and it falls through. If I move the bulkhead about 2" forward that problem is solved, plus I get a little more leg room. Anyone ever been up in there and can tell me what is in there. I am sure there is foam, but is it loose, or bonded to the hull? I am also sure that the factory will be somewhat limited in what they can suggest as there are flotation issues and coast guard regulations..
