My boat has a Racor fuel filter/separator. On the top there are 4 ports, two on each side. On each side is an in and an out port. Right now my fuel lines are both connected to the same side of the filter.
Can I connect the input on one side with the output on the other or do both connections have to be on the same side? I'm guessing that I can, but I want to be sure before I start moving things around.
I'm putting in a fuel monitor system and I need to move the output from the filter to the other side to make a neater installation of the sensor.
Thanks. |

Yes, each side has an in and out--you can put the out and in on opposite sides with no issues. I have done this--and put in two "outs", in the past on a number of Racors. _________________ Bob Austin
