Have you guys heard about the new ocean sport 26 legacy. It's pretty cool, the first one is for sale on Lopez Island. It will also be at the boats afloat show on lake Union this weekend.

I keep hoping, if i put enough water under my 22 Cruiser, that it will grow up to be an Ocean Sport, like maybe a 33. but I better win the lottery to pay the fuel.

Would love to get a close look at that but it wont happen this week. I have been all over the 30 and 33. Super perfect.

The 33 is my dream boat. Perfect for tuna fishing. The holds are so large I could probably stuff 80-100 fish in them (if I ever caught that many). The boats are nicely appointed inside and they have some really clever design features (like hand rails that double is drain pipes for the cabin roof). But they are pretty pricey.

Wife and I always swoon over these at the dock. The factory is on Camano Island and we see these going out for delivery pretty often around Stanwood.

If your worried about how much fuel burn one of these uses, you can't afford one. Its what you get when money is no object and you want to fish and cruise.

I hope there's a 26 at the boat show this year so I can drool on it and wish I made better career choices Wink

I can't make it to the boat show, but, if somebody could just pick one of those up for me while you're there, that would be great.

I quote from their web page
"Take it down a few notches to 3600 rpm and you can cruise at 25 mph with an economy rating of 2.15 mpg." That's with 2 ea 200 HP Yamahas.

Take that, you C-Dory 25's. We're getting only 2.5 MPG at lower speeds. And with a single engine.
