Redfox, I like your step-by-step barbi illustration. Once I got past the shock of the initial drilling, that is, watching open heart surgery, I learned a lot about the operation. Fabulous explanation, dude.

Yep, similar to the holes I drilled for my outriggers Shocked
I sent Greg a PM thanking him for giving me the incentive to bore big ol' holes in my boat.
I still can't quite bring myself to bore one below the waterline for my new washdown pump. Nope, gonna try something else first Crying or Very sad

It is a little un-nerving to think about drilling a "core sample" sized hole in the boat. I got to drill a pair of 2-1/2" mamas in the top of the gunnels in order to insert the gas filler necks for my long range tank mod. But those were nothing compared to the 4-inchers Exclamation I had to drill in the side for the filler neck access panels... I still sweat a little just thinking about it. Shocked

Just a quick report on the new Magma Catalina BB-Q:

So far I don't think it could be better Thumbs Up Smile ... we have used it in the rain AND wind (up to 15 kts---all directions Surprised ) It does not burn stuff (as other models are reported to do) works great in nasty-weather to Thumbs Up only thing is... its heavy Shocked but i guess that means it's built very well (probably why it works so well in cold weather---double-wall construction Thumbs Up )

out... Bat
