Only Area 10 will be open and to Hatchery Only. I might be interested, but my catch rate of hatchery over the years has probably only been 20% and I hate mortally wounding fish I can't keep.
I'm going to Neah Bay July 16-21.
I am going to fish Possession for chinook when I get back and probably see you out there then, Kevin. _________________ Patrick and Kim Walker

Great idea Kevin. I'm in! I just hope the fish come in. Unfortunately the outlook for Puget Sound fishing seems pretty dismal.

Interesting. Our hatchery/ wild rate for coho is about 60/40 in favor of hatchery. I wonder what makes the difference? Gear, location? if there is interest we should pick a date and make it happen. _________________ Kevin Richards - Catch 22 |

Kevin,
Alicia and I would be interested, it would just be a when and where game. 8-1 and 8-2 is closed except for the bubble, 9 and 10 are open for now....and who knows for how long, then Aug 15th MA 9 goes to the no boat show. That leaves us with 7 for the duration. If we do it soon MA9 would be fun, we're out of Langley but I know the larger % of the group is out of Everett and that would work for us too.
Long story short is we're interested.

Area 10 is open for coho through October 31st (most of the coho being caught now are resident fish) with the bigger fish coming in late August and September so that could be a possibility. |

What if we did the second weekend I'm August? 12th or 13th or both. In area 9 and 10 kings and coho would be open (we could have a prize or pat on the back for both species. ) |
