Hi, by way of introduction we are Phil and Jan Barnes of Colorado Springs CO and Orcas Island WA (at least for part of the summer). We have benefited from this site for a long time beginning when we were first evaluating C-Dorys and then after we purchased a used boat and began to outfit it and learn from all the wonderful knowledge shared on this site! We found a well kept 91 Cruiser with a new 90 HP Honda and 9.9 kicker a few years ago and have been increasing our PNW boating skills for a few weeks each year. We bought the boat before we had time to use it but are now trying to increase our skills and travels each year. We had EQ Harbor update electronics and a number of other items on the boat. Last year we met Pat and Patti and Jan at Garrison Bay. They introduced themselves and when they found we had the 22 Cruiser in the Harbor gave us a very warm welcome to the C Brats.
Thanks again to all who share knowledge on this site. All of you are fantastic resources and we have benefited greatly from your posts. Looking forward to meeting more of you when we can. Phil and Jan |

Hi. and welcome aboard. If you are in the islands this weekend we will be at the deer harbor fire works on the 3rd. We will be anchored out so stop by. On the forth we will be at the fisherman bay fire works. If you have not seen either show they are both worth it. We have plenty of room on the back deck for 6 people for the show. _________________ Thomas J Elliott

Hi Phil and Jan, welcome and congratulations on good choices and a nice new to you C-Dory. This is a great site and there are so many wonderful people here with all the things you could ever want to know about C-Dorys, and related so, Glad you're here.
Hope to cross wakes along the way. I get up into the islands frequently. Wish I was there now actually.
too late for the Friday Harbor CBGT (C Brat Get Together) this year but, Ladysmith is just a jaunt away on Vancouver Island. It will be worth the trip and there will be several boats from the area going so you would be welcome to buddy boat along.
Welcome,
Harvey
