Between work, family, and fishing I haven't been on C-Brats much the past couple months.
Chinook in Area 9 for 2016 was short but it sure was sweet. A10 is still open, but I don't think I'll be getting out before that shuts down. I was fortunate enough to get out and fish with a few fellow C-Brats the year.
If you were out this year, put up some photos!
Here's a few highlights for me:
COUPLE EARLY SEASON KEEPERS
MY PERSONAL BEST OF THE SEASON
PATRICK WALKER WITH A NICE KING
KEEPERS FOR THE DAY
I think this day we hooked 4 or 5 fish, keeping 2 and heading back in by 8 or 9 AM.
TOM ELLIOT WITH A PAIR OF KEEPERS
KEVIN RICHARDS WITH 2 MORE
This day we fished in stacked 3-4 footers but were still done in a couple hours.
WHAT WE USED ALL SEASON LONG
Chartreuse Ace Hi Fly

Also got a couple days of fishing in on John's boat.
We hooked into 9 or 10 fish this day. Released a couple un-clipped kings, couple coho, couple undersized jacks and frustratingly lost 3-4 fish.
This was really nice Puget Sound fish. Not every day you need to chase down a king with the boat. It was a fitting end to a fantastic season.

Way to go Troy! Looks like you had a great season! It looks like I'm going to have to get on your fishing C-Brats list for next season.

Troy is a great guy to fish with. We had a great time all season. I wish I had more fish to share but yesterday was 3 wild kings. I did see few 20 lbers caught yesterday. Now it up to area 7 to fish. _________________ Thomas J Elliott

Thanks Troy for great fishing! Your attention to detail is the difference between fishing and catching fish and you nailed it. _________________ Patrick and Kim Walker
