New East Coast Dealer

I notice from the company site that Mobile East Marine, of Alliance, NC, is now a C-Dory dealer. Mobile East's site says they're the newest, still awaiting their first shipment of boats. By my count, that will give C-Dory 4 dealerships in the eastern states.

I've used Mobile East for several years to do service on our Honda 90, and have been so impressed that I've scheduled service work while en-route between Richmond, VA and NC. They've always been courteous, prompt, reasonable, and are a long standing Honda dealer. They even went so far as to have one of their commuting employees drop off a new prop I'd ordered to New Bern, NC.

Mobile East should make a marvelous addition to the list of C-Dory dealers, and I urge anyone who's in the neighborhood to use them, without reservation. Alliance, NC is off the Pamlico Sound, a few miles north of the Cherry Point Ferry crossing the Neuse River.

Four? How you counting?

There are two (2) in Wisconsin alone and one (1) in Michigan and we're still west of the mountains. There are more on the Alantic seaboard.

Once and for all: Can someone give me a CURRENT list of CD dealers on the East coast? (East coast means East coast! Not WI or MI. Haha) I've been searching online and get mixed results for actual dealers. One place in Maryland showed up as a dealer BUT that was only because they had a used C Dory in their inventory!

I'm aware that Wefings is a major player in FL. Any other ones worth noting? Y-Landing is listed in NH as a dealer and I called them and inquired about a new boat. They still haven't returned my call yet. I guess they don't want new customers and/or don't give a rats ass....You pick. Lol.

Get a grip, CD is a niche boat in a minor-niche market in the Pacific Northwest, where men don't wear pajamas or shave their chests or fish with Zebco 202's.
No offense to those Brats who do.
Call Marc Grove at Wefings...he is the Market for trailerable pocket yachts for the entire East Coast, not just Florida. Very honest, and bent over backwards to get us a custom Float-On trailer delivered during a 1-day window on our return from a Dec Sarasota adventure last year.
Back in 2011, my Original Owner bought his TC255 from Mobile East Marine in NC, and the Owners are, by all accounts very honorable and honest folks (Marc knows them). When I inquired about a suitable Float-On trailer, she said, "Are you sitting down?" . We flew up, rented a car, drove down, fell in love with the TC255 and overpaid by at least $8,000. No regrets. They don't make many (our hull is Triton #001). At the time I didn't know about Wefings. If I had I would have called Marc, and he probably would have have put me in touch with the Prior Owner who was posting on this C-Brats site.
Unlike cars, "dealers" don't warranty all the stuff on the boat, only the manufacturer does. This argues for buying used. The Boat is is huge hunk of plastic that, as our Surveyor said, "will be around a lot longer than you two." (And we look pretty healthy).
Forget a 'dealer'...check the listings a grab a lovingly used C-Dory as soon as it is listed below the right side sidebar. Dr Bob Austin (thataway) is a great resource on historic pricing of all C-Dorys. Just Ask him.

Jason, You can't go wrong with Marc at Wefings. I might not be much help in getting the boat to you from there though
