At a crowded marina today I got smacked on the swim platform and got a few cracks I'm not happy about. Does anyone know where to find the original replacements? _________________ What doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

In the past, the factory has sold some folks a "new Swim step"--but they are not cheap. Pretty hard to do enough damage that you would have to buy a new one. Much cheaper ( and probably easier) to repair it. _________________ Bob Austin

Thanks Bob , maybe look at both options, I really hate to deal with down time with full boating season getting started. |

If you can either send a photo or post on in your album, we might be able to say "its OK" or not. There is a core in the platforms. The worry would be about getting water in the core.
Putting in the new platform in most cases requires removing the port fuel tank (in your case), Which can be as much or more trouble as a quick repair. You can do a repair which will get you thru the season, and then do the cosmetics, or have a professional do the cosmetics later. I have done this several times. |
