Charlie,
use it, but follow instructions exactly (I never do that). As Roger and I have found, the strain relief cover is the first to go, and though Smarplug will send you a free replacement, we have both been happier with simply buying the very well made, unique orange (only 100% tinned wire shorepower cord in production anywhere) from Smartcord. Includes a cool blue power on LED. Minds much brighter than mine concur its the best system for the over 20 amp typical draw crowd. Still a good system even if your boat doesn't pull those amps routinely.
Cheers!
John

A long time ago, I worked with a guy named Jack. He hated "Hi" and much preferred "Howdy" Cool

As to hi-jacking, how about boat plugs, in or out. I keep mine in the pickup, unless it is outside on my boat Embarassed

Can I chime in.......it is getting confusing.

Jack on HIGH TIDE or HIGH TIDE with Jack on it or.....or..

Happy Thanksgiving.

Never say hi to Jack. The plane folks do not like that kind of talk.

As a retired pilot from a major airline, I can say Jack in Alaska is correct about Hi Jack jokes to air crew. Some of us had a sense of humor most days, but many didn't..... Sad
