YEAH, RIGHT!!! COUPLE OF THOSE, A BLACK CAT, AND A SET OF NIGHT GOGGLES AND YOU COULD HAVE A PART TIME JOB

1. SMUGGLING DRUGS
2. LANDING ILLEGAL ALIENS
3. RENTING THE RIG OUT TO TERRORISTS
4. BEING INVESTIGATED BY THE HOME SECURITY DEPARTMENT ON A DAILY BASIS.

On the other hand, you could run them on used fish-fry oil and maybe the exhaust residue would be a real fish attractant. Would be OK if the salmon and albacore homed in on your transom, but if the Great Whites started showing up, you'd have to flip the fuel switch back to diesel.

Joe.

I would like to know how they do that. The compression ratio of a gas motor is usually well below 15:1 and a diesel runs at closer to 20:1 or more. So how do they manage the difference in the compression ratio? I mean are they really sliding the top of the head to do that? Pretty phenomenal technology when you start to think about it!

Me, I want an outboard that runs on a fuel cell that converts water to hydrogen onboard for the outboard. Laughing
