I've been on a 3 year quest for a 16 ft. Angler anywhere along the East coast for 3 years now of any age for less than $10,000 bucks. Never guessed it would be so hard. HELP.

Did you see this one? Not on the east coast but not far from Colorado if you are still there. http://www.c-brats.com/viewtopic.php?t=21722 and http://bozeman.craigslist.org/boa/4650140781.html.

There are some on the east coast but they are over $10k.

Good Luck,
Kevin

Yeah I saw it. When I add up the shipping and new motor it comes in at too much for an 86 model. Thanks and I'll own one of these sooner or later.

Just bear in mind that a new 4 stroke 50 installed will set you back another 7 grand give or take. I learned this the hard way on a very nice 16 angler that I bought for $4500, ultimately ended up into for over $12K, then later sold it for around $8k if I remember right. It's not the purchase price of the hull, but rather the total cost of your safely functional boat that you want to pay attention to. I really wish I had! Mike.

The 16 Angler is an awesome boat, and I hope like crazy that my 1991 Johnson 40, which runs like a top, goes on forever! Keep on looking!
