My wife and I and our two dogs have spent the last week in the Apostle Islands in Wis. Have had perfect weather for our CD 19. We had seen every island and light house and visited those that had docks. Have been to Ashland, Washburn ,and Bayfield to shop and eat. Flowers are everywhere. The Mosquitos have been tough when out of the wind but that has been the only negative in a long list of wonderful. We have the rv at Red Cliff and the boat in a slip there. Most of the time weather conditions allowed 20 mph running. The water quality is that of a north Georgia trout stream.
If you have not done this area get it on your bucket list. We are putting Thunder Bay down for another season. Blessings. Slowtrou |

Been talking to my bud who lives in Madison about doing the Erie Canal next year and also spending a week on Superior as part of that trip. Where did you launch and store your rig?
