I am looking for a pig tail for 30 amp rv male end and 30 amp marine female end to use when I am camping with the boat in a RV campground. Does anyone have a link to a website that sells them. I hope to use it on the way from PA to Lake Powell.
Thanks,

You can get both of those fittings at Home Depot along with a couple of feet of 3 strand cable. Make one up in less than an hour. _________________ Roger

Roger is correct, but I have found that some of the Home Depots do not have the 30 amp female, marine type. If that is the case, then you may have to order it from Defender, Jamestown or Marine (etc). I have several of the adaptors: 20 amp to 30 amp, RV to 30 amp 15/20 amp to 30 amp. One way is to have one marine 30 amp female, and carry the other adaptors and put them on as you need them. _________________ Bob Austin

I made a cheap home-made one from Lowes parts, but it looked cheap and homemade and wasn't rainproof. And it shorted out in one season. Agree with Dr. Bob multiple adapters give more flexibility.
I got this this one with LED, very well made and I'm real happy with it. It's much more substantial and heavy-duty than it looks in the picture. $37 with free shipping is not much more than the parts cost (the marine end is an L5-30R). I tell folks I made it in an hour with parts I had laying around in the garage and they are always very impressed.

Cheers!

John-
That's a great find and nice buy!
Cost is not any more than the basic utility parts for the DIY project if you consider run-around time and gas.
Marinco would want $60-$70 or more for that adaptor!
Thanks!
Joe.
