***
[color=black]I have just installed a Rule-Mate Float Switch in each tank.
When it rains and we are away from Lady KC
that sits in the water at a marina slip,
the tanks tend to fill up with water,
causing the stern to sit low in the water,
the scuppers then tend to back flow,
and the fish tanks fill up to the brim.
I have posted pictures of the float switch installation.
Now, when the tanks fill up with water,
the float will activate the macerator motor,
empty the fish tank.
We are hoping this will help during future heavy NC rain falls.
I also sealed the hole into the bilge,
so hopefully this will keep the both bilges much dryer.

For a minute there I thought, wow a Tomcat with fish tanks. Then I realized you were referring to the fish boxes. I like your solution. We have a slant back canvas on our Tomcat and don't have this problem. _________________ Roger on Meant to be |
