Great to hear Mark. As we've been traveling around with our boat we frequently get questions about it and often refer them to the C-Dory website; however, when is the website going to be upgraded? It has been the same for several years, including all the same very basic information. It does not serve the boat very well and leaves potential buys in an information limbo. When we first started looking for a C-Dory almost 3 years ago we were quite literally told by the C-Dory dealer in Oakland, CA, to buy a different boat because he did not like C-Dory. He actually said this, and rather rudely! This left us with only the website for info until we found C-Brats - which proved invaluable. Eventually we bought thru a C-Brats listing. A new component I would like to see available on the website is a page that indicates what sort of parts and/or options might be available to current owners, such as a solar package for example. We had a one installed by Marc (Wefing's) and it is wonderful! After all, we aren't just owners, we are potential customers.

Mark, thanks for the update, it is really nice to hear that a few boats are being built. I think it would be interesting to hear the numbers of boats built by model since you took over the company. Keep us informed, we are an important asset to keeping the Cdory brand alive. |

Heck, just get whoever did rangertugs.com to do it. Development costs should be minimal. Replace a few pictures, write some basic content and replace the "Tugnuts" link with "C-Brats" - done. |

Mark, we were glad you were willing to sell us the offset hinges for our new door under the helm seat where the Norcold used to live! We have a couple of new relations, one with West Coast Marine in Bellingham, and another with Blaine Marine, for most of our repair/maintenance needs. We wish you guys the best, all C-Dory owners are rooting for you! The comments on the website, however, are spot on. You really should take care of that! It is SO out of date! But we DO like reading "Pat and Patty's Story"! Read it here. _________________

We do appreciate your desire to have the website updated and I can assure you that as soon as we get our feet on the ground with this business, our first priority will be to upgrade the website. We are aware that a better website presence could invigorate more sales, but we are putting all emphasis on improved product and design.
I can tell you we are doing our absolute best and we will continue to try and serve our customers as best we can!!
Let's get some more C-dory's on the water!!
Take good care!!

Mark,
Not to be rude, but I think everyone here including potential customers would love to hear about the product improvements you are working on as mentioned in your post that Northwest Marine is doing on the new boats. I'm thinking that possible vendors might be able to assemble optional packages concerning, air conditioning, solar options, inverters and optional storage options that could include mounts for kayaks etc. Some of these options would be easier to install of rig for while the boat is being built. Just imagine if you had to buy a stripped down automobile and all the options had to be installed by dealers. I know boats are different but it just seems like thoughtful factory options would also help sell boats. Just my opinion. But because of the lack of above if I were to move up I would be thinking Nordic Tug.

should look at making the boats "better" by either making the areas of core penetration (above and below the waterline) solid resin or taking the time to overdrill and fill with thickened epoxy then drill the appropriate hole for mounting hardware. Or at least offer it as an "upgrade". Not having that balsa core isolated asks for trouble down the line and I just spend dozens of hours repairing wet core on the deck and rebedding all the other holes to completely isolate the core. 50% of the holes had some sort of water intrusion where the sealant used eventually failed. If done from the factory it would be a valuable addition. just my 2 cents. |

Mark,
Thanks for the update, great to hear that new C-dory units are on their way to anxious owners.
As for your focus on building better boats, quality will always trump an improved marketing technique. We appreciate the improved quality of our 23V. _________________ Jerry and Helen
