I have a Honda 150 on my C-Dory 25. I began running a flush by removing the female hose from the flush port connector. Upon doing this I heard a snap and once I got the hose disconnected I noticed that the flush port connector was no longer tight against the motor but was loose. I cannot see how the connector is fastened inside the motor without the removal of a number of parts. Short of doing this is there an easier fix? One repair man suggested that I use 3M Marine Adhesive Sealant to secure the connector back against the motor. Anyone else out there ever have this problem and know how to fix it?

Not sure how to post an image on C-Brats. Do you have an email address. I can successfully do that.

Mickey, click on the button under his name that says "email" and send it! If you ask one of the Nerds for an album, you could put one in there and then post it.

It looks like part #1 water joint cap

http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Honda/Outboard%20Engine/2006/BF150A6%20XA/LOWER%20COVER/parts.html

water joint cap with a hex nut inside the cowling connected to a rubber tube

It is difficult looking at the diagram

Pull the top cowling and take a look

Looks like an easy fix
