|
the older cruisers came equipped with Fynspray hand flipper pump at the sink. I don't think mine had been used for a while, was dry and wouldn't pump water (just pumped dry). I remembered when I was young we had a hand pump at the well and if it didn't pump you had to prime it by pouring water in the top.
So I took the pump off and tried it in the kitchen sink. it worked. I then reconnected on the boat, taped up the relief vent on the water tank and put the hose back in the tank and turned it on full to push the water in the under counter piping to the pump. Pumped and it worked. Because of the ball in the pump the water stays at the pump when not in use.
Just thought I would pass along my experience before y'all buy a new pump. |
