Quick Columbia River Cruises

No can do this weekend, B~C. However, I am hoping to get the old tub all ready to go into the slip sometime next week, and a trip to Larry's house and beyond the weekend of 3/20-21 really sounds good to us. I got a fishing license the other day, so I might even bring some gear.

That would be a pretty fair run for a Friday, Mike. I might point out that if you're interested in cruising beyond Larry's on 3-20ish that J. Cove would fall into the "beyond" catagory Smile

I need to get another fishing license this month...drat

Yep, Harry is married to my wife's cousin. I've seen him pull a rabbit out of a hat, a quarter out of his ear and ping-pong balls out of his mouth...... but have yet to see him pull a fish out of a river.
Dear ol' dad is coming for a visit tomorrow. I'll know more after I talk to him then. I'd sure hate to miss a fish & chip run to St. Helens.

10-4, there'll be many more Chip runs in the future...think I may just cruise past the eat joint and on to Portland and see the sites in the big city

Yeah, 40 roger. But what about the following weekend, B~C?? Geronimo's Cove isn't until the week after that, and you got the house all remodeled, so it looks like you should have an extra free weekend in there. Larry too.

That is correct, Geriactrics Cove is a week later. depending on the weather, we may be up for anything on the 20th

According to my calculations, we will be leaving the dock in Warrenton around 10:00. That lets us ride the tide all the way up. Kay will probably want to stop at Cathlamet for a spell, but we should be able to make St. Helens by 4:00 pretty easy. That would be my guess, anyway.

You lucky dogs! Patty didn't even want to tow Daydream up to Birch Bay this weekend for some reason...if not for Gerbil's Cove, she wouldn't even be getting the bottom side wet this month...

Beautiful day on the river today. Released one native springer in the 20 lb. range, kept another clipped one about 14 lbs.

way to go Larry, I drug a spoon around for about 20 minutes then we motored up to St.H. where we met a nice couple in a C-D...It appears that the fish and chip place has been shut down Sad
