Actually, I may be there by 1030HRS as I've decided to drag "Sea Shift" to work with me tomarrow morning so that when I get off work on Sunday morning, I'll drive directly to Everett Marina Launch. Brock, it is the 10thStreet Launch off of Marine View Drive. The entrance to the launch site is north of the Everett Navy Base and North of Anthony's.

Hey Bill, I guess I can only imagine your comment to Brocks posting, but we can take it. ("Slow and Sure" are my thoughts, but yours is probably different).

If for some reason any one is delayed in joining up with the cruise, I'll monitor CH 68.
I managed to print up a map of the various "waterways" in the Snohomish River Delta as well as an aerial photograph of the area.

Hi C-Brats,
It looks like we will be having great weather for our cruise tomorrow. I will bring my USGS quad maps of the delta tomorrow so we can study our options. The NOAA charts don't cover much of the waterways east of I-5.
I was down at the marina today washing the boat and noticed it was getting pretty dark by 5:00 pm. Fortunately Dave has his rooftop spotlight to guide us back to the boat ramp if we are out too late.
See you all at the ramp.
Best Regards, Leo.

Hey Leo, I was getting worried about you since you hadn't posted anything recently.
Today, I photo-copied 8 pages of the Thomas Brothers Guide of the area we can cruise. Then I highlighted three different routes in various colors so each cruising vessel can have a copy.
For sure, we can cruise from Everett to Snohomish. (I also highlighted the areas in the river to "steer clear of").
I've been told that the "outback channels" could be treacherous because of all the logs/debris that came down in the recent flood. (We can all discuss this before we depart on the cruise). We don't want to lose props!
I'm at work now and "Sea Shift" is hitched and ready to go just outside my sleeping quarters. Hopefully, I won't get a "late call" that delays my getting off work on time..............so, no one call 911 after 0600 HRS so I can be off work and out the door by 0900 HRS. Smile

Brock, Crook I almost forgot to mention that I have some brightly colored surveyors tape included with your "map packet". Wink

Da Nerd, see what a nice guy Fireman Dave is? He brings maps and some kind of tape to aid safe cruising and greater communication.

Trail markers so no one gets lost? Must be, bread crumbs would get soggy and the seagulls would eat em'. Mr. Green

Man, I like that "edit" feature. I was able to go back and insert a much needed comma after the word "way". Way cool.

I wish I was going tomorrow with you guys, Catman. My GPS is still at the factory getting repaired. I have a large roll of string, but don't think it would be enough. I get lost easily.

OK, the departure time is a bit vague - is there a definitive time for cast off lines? I vote for 10:30 am, or as soon as Rev. Dave arrives after 10:30...

Wow! What a fabulous day cruise! Thanks to Leo and Dave! And Leo's Toland 18-8 is way cool! I had heard of Steamboat Slough, but what a treat! And like Dave says, going to Marysville wasn't all bad! Too much to see, not enough time! This has to be a twice a year regular cruise! All exclamation points because I am home and STILL pumped!
