Going with the swim platform is my second option. Last weekend we had the gen running while placed upon the bow. Wasn't a problem but I do understand gas fumes are heavier the air and thus migrate to lowest level. The pvc frame with canvas sounds the way to go. |

On the Comfy Dory, I have mounted 2 rod holders vertically on the inside surface of the lazarettes. We set the Honda 1000 EU on top of the lazarette with bungees to secure. Then open an umbrella and put it into one of the rod holders and it covers the Honda and allows plenty of ventilation for the generator. Honda is set with exhaust to the rear.
