05/18 - 05/19 - Friday Harbor Gathering

We just confirmed the dates for the 2013 Friday Harbor CBGT. The gathering will be May 17-18-19. We made early reservations for 30 boats and will count from there, (usually up! Laughing

).

Since it is early please let us know about any changes you would like to see. The plan is to arrive on Friday, have dinner out together Friday night, Saturday is open for gossiping and whatever else seems attractive. The potluck will be on Saturday afternoon and we will depart on Sunday.

Note: There will be one change from the practice of the last few years. For a variety of reasons we have decided to skip the gift drawing. We'll still have a good time though (Where's the dog act? Where's rock and roll Jim?)

SleepyC will be there (mmmm as long as you all don't tell my boss). Big stuff going on at work and vacation for May and June is in high jeopardy. Since this is a weekend it won't really need to be vacation Wink

There is a 30 minute time limit to edit your posts. After that they are set in electronic stone. A few years ago some members got into an ugly public spat, about political things as I recall, and at least one of them methodically went through their years of posts, removing all the content. Kind of "I'll take my ball and go home" thing. As a result the aforementioned editing time limit was established by Bill (DaNag) and Mike (Tyboo), the site administrators who's famous patience ran out. Don't worry about your post. Like many, it led to some thoughtful, if unintended, discussions.
