Planning to cruise San Juans for the month of June. I have seen a few good cruising books (more specific than Waggoners). Any suggestions on best book for this area.

The "best" book? Guess it depends, I will still vote for Exploring the San Juans and Gulf Islands by Don and Reanne Douglass - it is a bit more specific than Waggoner, and it has lat/lon coordinates for every entry...but another book, if you really want specific, is not a cruising book at all but will really enhance your enjoyment of the area - it is Pig War Islands by David Richardson. This book really brings the islands alive, you can almost see the ghosts of the people who populate this fascinating history.
