I've been very impressed with the exchange of information on this thread and found it very useful. I was not satisfied with the anchoring setup on our boat (not a C-Dory) but after following this thread I have some very useful information that will help me make a decision on what I should switch over too.

Martin,
My wife reads the posts and suggests to me to spend the money and do the upgrades. Who am I to argue. The safety card is a good one as well. That is exactly why I take a safety nap each day.
