I just looked at all the photos in the Sea Skipper album. All I can say is.......wow! We sure have some very talented people among us. Wonder how I got overlooked in the grand scheme of things ? ;o)

Martin-
Sea Skipper was purchased and originally outfitted by Hank Brooks of Bend, Oregon.
Socarateur is the second owner, and is from Danville, California, in the East Bay Region next to Walnut Creek and Concord.
Both have ben great C-Brats and contributors to our site.
The boat is a real work of both art and thought.

Martin - My main claim to fame around here is having purchased Sea Skipper from Hank. Aside from that, I have done an exemplary job of keeping her clean and well-maintained. I consider myself a custodian, a keeper and guardian, of this fine boat. Of all the improvements Hank made, I think the one that impresses me the most is the complete rewiring he did of the main helm panel. Sometimes even today I just sit there and gaze at it in amazement. _________________ Capt Jay |

I only see 8 images in the Sea Skipper album. Are the photos you are referring to somewhere else?

I had the same issue. Apparently there are two Sea Skipper albums (maybe for each owner). The link to the gallery with more extensive pics is here: Sea Skipper

Jay-
If I remember right, Hank either owned or was a wheel in the TV cable business in Bend, Or.
That might explain his skill and attention to detail.
He also had an observatory built next to his home, so was an amateur astronomer, too.
