Guys, anyone have an I-Pad with Navionics Charts for Canada that includes, Nova Scotia? I have the Gold version for canada on my RayMarine E80, but i'm not sure what to download for my I-Pad.

They have one called Marine&Lakes US&Canada, but i'm not sure this is going to cover all of east coast Canada. I don't plan to do any lake boating, but i'm looking for a good backup for the E80 as there are a lot of rocks to hit up here.

Thanks Jim

Get the US & Canada Navionics Marine & Lakes app. Its coverage is just astounding. The iPhone version works great on an iPad and costs $14.99. The iPad version is sharper I suppose, especially all the components other than the actual chart data, and costs $49.99, so either way, it is affordable compared to the Raymarine chips. The iPhone version works great however because the actual chart data is vector data, which scales really well.

Great, thanks for the info. I'm really impressed with the I-PAD GPS, so I can't wait to see what Navionics looks like. We were talking the on ther day and i think it may not be too soon that raymarine and other vedors start packaging some of thier lower end models around the I-PAD and get out of direct interface business. They could then cut some of thier enginering coasts, assuming they can really waterproof the I-Pad and have some type of sidecar that handles the interface to the other devices. That is assuming that Apple will approve!!
