David, Have you checked the weather forecast? I'm turning chicken. The winds tonight & tomorrow are a concern. _________________ We are land lubbers now enjoying NC.

Thank you Les and Shelley for the use of your motorhome. I don't know of any 5 star waterfront hotel where the owner comes to room and makes everyone Lattes. Man were we spoiled!
Joe W, thanks for taking us into your hometown, suggesting a great place to eat and then picking up the bill. Holy Cow!
And for the beer guys, what can I say except for you two did it again. Thanks for the mobile brewery.
Roger, Roger, Roger, I love those spuds man and you know how to bring 'em. Flatbed style!
I'm not sure who brought what to eat but it was as good as always. It was nice to see you all again even if it was a short stay.
Oh Mike, did you see DunDee, he moved the fire!!! Jon & Cynthia

Hope everyone made it home safe and sound. I sure enjoyed meeting all of you and look forward to doing it again soon! Hey Bill, we're about to become "Peetniks" - I just placed our first order.

OK so the weather wasn't the greatest, it still was a great time. Thanks to Mike and Kay for the chilli and hospitality on the cruise boat, Les and Shelley for those lattes and hangout at the dock, Bill for all the help, David and Pat for the beer, Rodger for the potatos, Kathy for the moorage, JoeW for dinner, Doug and Betty for the hotdogs, Jon and Cynthia for the salmon, Wade and Lois for the company on our 20 minute cruise, Ken and Marge for showing up and anyone else I forgot.
Last time I saw Mike and Kay they were on there way to the Dodge dealer in Lynnwood. I wonder if they make a dodge in CDory green, not that Mike could tell.

Had a great time seeing everyone yesterday. Mike, your "new" 25 is a sweet find. It was great getting a little cruise on it out to the edge of Rosario. I'll send the pic I took of Skipper and Elliott to you and Kay when I get back to North Bend tomorrow when I have access to the dsl line. Also the pic of Anita Marie.
This morning and afternoon the launch ramp here at Guemes Is. was one ugly mess. Logs and junk everywhere and three foot waves and a lot of wind coming straight into the launch ramp. Would have been a disaster waiting to happen if I had tried to get the boat back onto the trailer in all that.
Hope everyone got back to where they came from uneventfully. |

Yep, Dave, the Jeep made it up there just fine, but it didn't make it home. About half way through the conversation with the other guy in the picture, Kay says "You do this, this and this, and we drive it home." I kept quiet from there on out.
2004 Dodge 3500, 4wd, Cummins HO. Right off the showroom floor.
I gotta quit going up that way, it costs me bunches every time! This trip was cheaper than the Sequim trip, though. |
