Am thinking of repacing the fuel tanks on my 1990 22ft angler. the old ones are (well old) and the new ones, at least the ones on my buddys are red with a see thru clear part that you can actually see the fuel in, kind of comforting if ya know what I mean. Question is: my buddys are kinda slanted as mine are flat top. will the updated ones fit? and mabey some one has done this before and has a better idea. I would measure but I'm way out of town and wont be back for some time. any help appriciated. _________________ Trudging the Road of Happy Destiny!! |

I replaced my tanks with Moeller, and like them a lot. Only thing, I had to put in special fuel pickup tubes because the slant of the floor required longer tubes that would pickup fuel from the lower side in order to use all the fuel in the tank. Also had to make new anchor points for the straps that hold the tank down. That required the epoxy filling of new and old holes like discussed elsewhere in the brat site. Ron |
